Fairmont girls go 1-1-2 in SWOFHL preseason Play Day.

Fairmont High School girls Field Hockey team played in the preseason Field Hockey Play Day at Miami University in Oxford Ohio.  Participating schools along with Kettering Fairmont were: Oakwood, Indian Hill, Saint Ursula Academy, Mount Notre Dame, Ursuline Academy, and host Talawanda.

A rare Red Tailed Hawk was spotted off of Old Lane Avenue in Kettering close to Community Golf Course. Red Tailed Hawks are native to south Texas and New Mexico and are rarely found north of Oklahoma and Missouri.
